Registration for our 2017 ANCHORS AWAY 5K Walk/Run is now open!
Race will be July 29th, 2017 @ 8:30 PM.  Start/Finish will be at Platte County High School

Packet Pick up at Running Well store July 27 & 28th 5-7PM  (6106 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64154)


$15 all students now thru race day (guaranteed shirt only up to 14 July)

$25- Now until July 14th

$35- 15 July – Race Day  (no guarantee on shirts)

2017 PCYFL General Info

Just some important information/updates regarding our 2017 Football season.  I know this is rather lengthy, but please read in its entirety and track the dates accordingly.

League sign up this year will take place in front of Pizza Hut on Branch Street from 9-11 AM on June 3rd.  Please bring the following information:

We will have a 2nd sign up on July 18th (At PCYFL Football Camp). 

Additionally, we have ONLINE Registration through our website www.pcyfl.org.  We will have it active for the 2017 season by May 15th.   This year all registration will be done online. 

Registration Costs through June 30th 2017

$195 for Tackle (3rd-7th

$85 for Flag (K-2nd)

After June 30th 2017

$210 for Tackle

$100 for Flag 

PCYFL Camp (Additional $45) will be July 16-18 this year from 6pm – 8:00 PM at PCHS.


Tackle Only:      USA Football Mandated Acclimation Training week July 24-26 (Mandatory no Pad conditioning program for Tackle Football kids)

                        Placement Camp week (Required) is July 31st – Aug 3rd.

                           Savannah Tournament Dates: Aug 26-27 

                           First MEYFL Game: September 9th

                           First PCYFL Flag Game:  September 9th 

PCYFL will be hosting a 5k Run this year on July 29th @ 7 PM.  Please come out and support.  More information will be sent out regarding registration for this event very soon.  So please mark your calendars.  This event will be in support of PCYFL and the new Football fields opening in 2017-2018

2017 PCYFL Board


First of all, thank you very much for supporting PCYFL.  As you know, it is a volunteer organization and it takes all of the players, coaches and parents to make our football program successful.  As we near the end of the 2016 season, it is already time to start thinking about the 2017 season.  PCYFL will be holding their elections for the 2017 Board during equipment turn in on November 1stand 3rd.  Currently, there are at least 6 open board positions that need to be filled for next year.  Some of the positions available include Fundraising, Merchandise, and Marketing.  There may be a couple other positions as well.  If you are interested in joining or have questions regarding the PCYFL Board, please reach out to myself or any of the other current Board members.  If you do wish to join the PCYFL Board, please submit your name, contact information and position that you would like to hold via email to mtscott@smithfield.com.  Please submit the information by October 29th.

Exciting times are ahead with the new football complex at Platte Ridge Park and we really need the continued support of the PCYFL parents.  Thanks again for another successful PCYFL football season.

Trash Bag Fundraiser

For this year’s PCYFL Trash Bag Fundraiser, PCYFL will be awarding three $50 Dick’s gift certificates to the three players that sell the most trash bags.  Please encourage your son to continue selling as many trash bags as possible.  All forms must be completed and turned in by August 31st.  Thank you for your support of PCYFL!!
