KCFC Mission Statement:
Establish and administer programs for youth to participate in football and cheerleading in a safe, competitive and learning environment, that are delivered with the highest degree of efficiency, consistency, integrity, quality and fairness.
Games:
- Games will be played at Heritage Park in Olathe and Northland team fields
- 8 regular season games will be played
- Teams will be grade specific (Tackle is 3rd – 7th)
- Practices will still be held in Platte City
- Northland Teams in KCFC: Platte County Pirates, Smithville Warriors, Liberty Outlaws, Savannah Savages, and St. Joe Thunder
- We will also be playing high school area teams such as Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, Olathe, and other small community teams from Johnson County and other counties in Kansas.
Additional benefits:
- Certified Athletic Trainers from Overland Park Regional Medical Center are on-site for all game days
- A sportsmanship committee is “on duty” during all games to oversee and deal with any issues with coaches, spectators or players
- USA Football Heads Up certified
Dates for season:
- PCYFL Camp—July 22 – 24
- Placement Camp—there is no need for placement camp due to grade specific teams
- First game will be on Saturday, September 8
Registration:
- May 1—July 21
- You will register with PCYFL first and KCFC second
- Cost—$250 for season, plus $150 equipment deposit
